Lord Georoe Hamilton has in-tiuuted that an exhaustive inquiry shall bo held in Sydney into the circumstances surrounding the fatal explosion on board H.M S, Cordelia. Sydney, July il. A prelimiii'try inquiry into tho accident on board U.M.S. Cordelia is proco?ding. It lias been ascertained beyond question that the gun was properly loaded, Condolences have been received from Lord Onslow and other Governor*.
