Garfield walked tho tow-path of a canal. Several additions have been made to Mr J. McNicol'a sales in this issue. Various advertisement* from local bodies appear in our columns to-day. Mr J. McNicol will hold a clearing sale of Capt. Owen's furniture and effects on the premises, Cambridge West, to-day. Owing to Mr J. Knox having a sale of trees at Huntly to-day, the usual sale will not be held iu tho Hamilton Auction Mart. Messrs J. Gilmour and Co., of Parnell, represented in W.iikato by Mr R. Gilinour, are offering a splendid line of mens' oil skin coats at lis. Just tho thing for wintry weather.
