TE AROHA ELECTION.
TO I'HB EDITOR. Sin,—Your correspondent in Thk Waikato Timks uf Tuesday last correctly states thut I was well received at Te Aroha itsolf anc' the adjacent important districts ; that I received vote.s of thanks and confidence, of which I am pruud ; and, if I may ex pro.-s an opinion, I urn likely to become the successful candidate, but that with the great body of electors. With regard to the making of poetry, I may say that I am not u poet, but do ao as the reault of a classical education which renders it possiblu for any ono who, like mywelf, doea so from political motives. Some of the dogrel rhyme came from one of the other candidates and not from ■•Iβ a.i it appeared. The Thames Advertiser »f the Ist innt. calls my oration a first-class entertainment, and I trust they will find mu ue cumfurtable u seat us they can.— Yours truly, Dr. Chab. Bboojie.
