SCULLING MATCH.
(JJY KLKUTKIC TKLEGKAI'H.—COPYRIGHT.) Syhnkv, July 7. Thk sculling race betweou Stanbury and McLean, for the Championship of the World and £200 a-.side, was rowed on the Parramatta river this afternoon. The course was from Uhr's Point instead of Charity Point, as hitherto, thin making it GOO \Mi-ds shorter than the usual Championship course. Stanbury had a .slight call in the betting, and he had, if anything, a littlo the best of the start, but McLean was soon on terms with him. Up to the mile-post the race was very exciting, each doing his utmost, and both keeping on fairly even terms. McLean then began to lose ground, and Slanbury gradually drew away from liim. Stanbury pa--sed Putney Point with n length advantage, which he had increased to three liy the time Tennyson's was parsed, and this he maintained till the finish without the slightest exertion.
