HAMILTON AMATEUR DRAMATIC CLUB.
A vri\y pleasant soci.il reunion was hold in tlie I'unlic Hull, Hamilton, bet night when the members of tho Hamilton Amateur Dramatic Club were entertained by tho lady mombers of the company. Thero were in all 38 present, and after amplo justice had been done to a splendid auupor, games, singing and dancing, were engaged in and a thoroughly enjoyable evening was spent. This company now musters over -10 members among whom are many possessing histrionic ability of no moan order, as was evidenced by tho succoss'ul manner in which the characters in Hob Hoy and the Shanghraun were sustained. The company which was started by Captain Reed—who by-the-way makes a success of everything he undertakes—has been in existence about eighteen months, and tho gathering last night showed that the members are at one with each other, and such gatherings as this will do much to !:eep them in accord. The ladies are to be heartily congratulated on tho success of their undertaking and we hope that the members of the company of the sterner sex will look to their laurels and return the compliment paid tn them.
