(IIY TKIKOKAI'II.—I'KESS ASSOCIATION".) Wellington, Last Night. A DEPUTATION from the Wellington Single Tax Society waited on Sir George Grey this morning and presented him with an address, congratulating him on his safe return to tho colony, and upon his having again entered Parliament. Sir George, who is confined to hi*, room, suffering froip lumbago, brought on by a cold ho caupht on Monday, said ho was glad to receive the deputation and expressed his symuaHiy with the viows held by the Single Tax Society. The [{.M.S. Arawa arrived at 1.30 p.m. She left London on May 14th with 134 passengers, Plymouth on tho llith, Tennrifl'o on the 21st, Capo Town on the tlth Juno, and Hobart at 11 a.m. on the 2lilh. Tiio voyage was an uneventful one. On May 28th, Mr U. A. Melnish, a second saloon passenger, died from consumption.
