McDonald, to put t'.ieir case before (lie various trades unions in New Zealand, to ascertain the position of shearers in New Zealand, and to place his services at their disposal in the formation of a branch of the Australian Shearers' Union. While in Auckland Mr McDonald intends to address meetings of the various bade societies, and also a public meeting, with the object of obtaining sympathy and assistance for the tren on strike, and to prevent the shearers aiding the pastoralists.
