Kbavy Gale.—A very heavy gale visited tlfls district on Thursday night, a good deal of damage boing done to fences, orchards and small houses. The river rose about 1(> feet, and is still rising.
Thajibs-Tb Auoha Ratlway —The interest in the extension of tho railway between Paeroa and Te Aroha is still spreading.
