KIRIKIRIROA ROAD BOARD.
Thk annual meeting of the abovo Board was held iu the Waikato County Council Chambers yesterday, whp.n there were present : Messr3 Primrose (chairman), McLean, Coates, Gillott aud White. The minutes of previous meriting were read and confirmed, Capt. McPherson was re-elected to the offices of Clerk, Treasurer, Returning Officer, Collector, and Furze Notice server, etc., at the same remuneration as last year, aud Mr Primrose was unanimously reelected chairman. Balance.—The Clerk reported the balance in the bank as £2SO 18s 3d. Ckmbtekv.—The Clerk reported that the graveyard at Hukanui had been placed under tho control of thu Board, ft was unanimously decided that it be fenced in, and that interment;; be charged J Us. Complaint.--Mi- Motlitt ut Agarua.vahia wroto complaining that the contractor for forming tho road on the Ngaruawahia-Tau-piii contract was making a bad job. Mr White said that tho work was being faithfully done as far as it had gone.—Letter received. Road.—Mr Starr, senr. wrote, asking for a track across the railway from his place at Ngaruawahia to his son's, a short distance away.—The matter was left in Mr White's hands. Tk.vdkiw.—The following tenders were received for digging a drain on the TaupiriTauhae road:—Peter Rice, 13s lid per chain ; f?. Browne, 17s (id per chain ; J!. Murray, Ss 3d per chain. The latter tonder was accepted. BuiriOEs.—Mr White reported that the bridge over Walsh's creek near Kenny's was completely worn out. Messrs Primrose, White and Coates were appointed a committee to inspect the bridge and report. Mr White reported that Geakes' bridge is being made nearly us good as new, and the piles of the Woodlands bridge are not upright. Mr MuL*an reported that Mr (Jox sustained an accident on tlia lagojn bridro near Taupiri, and recommended that it bo repaired. Accounts.—The following accounts were passed for pavinent :—Whits. t!l 13s ; Kdney, t'li 12s ; Barton, €1 ss; Johnson, t'li 12s ; Xiely, f."i 4s 2d ; Sandes, £2 Is lid ; Murray, £20 15s 7d.
