STRUCK AT ROTORUA AND NEW PLYMOUTH. (by telegraph.—pkess association). RoroitUA, East Night. The natives working on the Rotorua(ialatea road, now camped at Kaharamea, aiotapu, discovered on Friday night last a large petroleum spring. The natives are very much excited at finding thu oil, which gives a bright light. A sample will bo forwarded by Wednesday's mail for analysis. New Plymouth, Last Nigkt. At tho petroleum works thoy have struck oil at 900 feet. Tiie quality is excellent.
