SUPPOSED MURDER.
A MAORI WOMAN STAEBED. | THE EODY BURIED IN A WHARE. (UY TELKGKAI'H—I'KESS ASSOCIATION.) New Plymouth, East Night. IT is reported here that a European living with a native woman in the Tuliua country stabbed her with a knife during the night, killing her. He buried the body under the floor of a whare. The mother and friends of the woman missed her, and on searching for her they found the floor of tho whare disturbed. Thoy opened up the earth and discovered tho body. A constable from Kuiti and some natives have gone to the place to inquire into tho matter. Tho alfair is said to have happened on Tuesday last.
