OR CANARIS' ENTERTAINMENT.

I>r Canakis gave an entertainment at Cambridge on Saturday evening. It had not been advertised and consequently the house was not a very good one ; but we can confidently say that the whole of those present thoroughly enjoyed them.'elves, and when he returns, as he promised, we predict that he will have a bumper. The tricks performed were excellent and cleanly done ; and the cabinet business was immense, the celebrated comedian Mr C. Tuck assisting, and it is needless to say it went off with eclat. Tho singing of Miss Beaumont was good, and the whole entertainment wns such a one as we can confidently recommend.
