A htko.m; north-west gale, with a heavy sua all night, caused the Wauaka to alter her position, aud instead of lying broadside on to the shore, her head has now gone round seaward, aud fears are expressed that if tho gale continues she will be greatly damaged. Owing to the heavy sea rolliug in, no communication can he had with the vessel, aud the Mou remains under the shelter of the breakwater. \\ hen the sea moderates another attempt will be made to float the vessel,
