DR. CANARIS' ENTERTAINMENT.
Tiiosk who were not daunted by the inclemency of the weather laßt night thoroughly enjoyed themselves at the clever entertainment provided by Dr. Canaris, the great Greek wizard, who will continue his performances to-night and to-morrow night, in the Oddfellows' Hall. Hamilton. The doctor exhibited some wonderful trickß of legerdemain, amongst which the card trick, the bottle and candlestick transition, and the handkerchief and watch tricks were particularly noticeable for the neatness in which they were severally executed. Miss Beaumond, the double-voiced vocalist, is a highly-gifted and remarkable singer, combining both a soprano and baritone voice, which was beautifully displayed when she sang "Waiting." We regret that space will not allow of our giving a more extended report of the performance, but we would advise our readers to go aud enjoy the entertainmeut in person. We feel quite certain that if they do they will agree with us that it is one of the best eveuing's amusement they have had for many a long day. _____^_^_
