(liv TKI.KCUAI'II —OWN COKUKS PON DENT). Tk Aiioiia, i.nsi- Night. The annual ratio meeting Wss held to-day, at Mr Wo.*'T- farm, Te Aroha, West, the weather being fine and not too warm. The meeting was in every way a success, and the atMiihinei; was superior to former years, tho capacity of the hotel accommodation being strained to the utmost limit. The racing was excellent, the only accident reported being that to a son of MrSmardon of the Palace Hotel. The lad was proceeding homewards from tho course when his hotsu stumbled, and young Smardou was thrown receiviug a severu shaking but no bones were broken. Tho horse, however, broke his neck.
