Ax adjourned meeting of the ibovo Board was held in the Borough Council Chambers on Tuesday evening, Present: Messrs Jones, in the chair, Dey, Tippen, Bell, Reid, Slade, Wood, Parr and Scott. Park Rkseuvk.—An account from Mr Uevitt for digging round the trees in the Park Reserve amounting to £-1 Is (id Was ordered to be paid. Ckmktkuy Dbaix.— The report of the Foreman of Works recommending that the Cemetery drain be cleaned out was adopted. I'Yuze.—Two tenders were received for clearing the furze on the street adjoining < ialloway street reserve, viz., T. Keep, Ills ISJ ; A Bennett, 12s. Bennett's tender was accepted. • • Meeting Night.—Mr Dey moved that the meetings of the Domain Board be altered from the fourth Tuesday to the second Tuesday in the month after the Council meeting. Seconded by Mr Reid and carried. Bathing.-"The seeretary was instructed to draw the attention of the police tn the fact that persons were in the habit of bathing in the lake without proper costume, to the annoyance of ladies.
