ACCIDENT ON THE WEST COAST.
A HQMKWii.vi serious accident happened on Tuesday hist to Mis« fwepon of What*wliata, wh'u is staying on a. visit with Mr T. B. Hill, at Ituapuko. It uppoars that a number of young people, ten altogether, were riding mi the ocean beach, and in crossing a rocky point, Miss Tweiaon'a horse, which Wiiß shod, and unable to koop its feet on the slippery rocks, camo down, throwing itH rider, and unfortunately gotting its hind left cmght in o crovice. Miss Iwerson escaped with n shaking, but though the gentlemun of the party tried in vain to extricate the horse, it was in vain, and to nialco matters wnrsu the tide was fast coming in. Help was sent for, and on eover>il gentlemen arriving the poor animal .vas at last released, but terribly cut and bruised.
