A peculiar accident happened in Cambridge 011 Thursday. Ono ot tho Fencourt waggons was going up Victoria-street, loaded with bags of oats, when tho near fr.ro wheel came off, but strange to say no damage was done, although there were two tons on tho waggon. It was found tho cap hatl camo of the wheel, and upon searching back alone llie road it was found opposite Mr Wells' store. Matters were soon rectified, but how the cap came oil' remains a mystery as the thread ot the screw was letthanded, and consequently the wheel, when travelling, would liavo a tendency to tighten it. This is ono of those things that as"Lord Dundreary would say : " >.0 fellah can understand."
