RAILWAY STRIKE.
(HY ULECnUU TKLKGBArH—COI'YKIGHT). London, January 27. A BAND of maskers seized a locomotive shed at Shotovcn, ill-treated employes, and disabled the engines. In some places rails have been soaped. The railway men are providing against the seizure of their funds. January 28. The amalgamated railway unions Luivo formulated demands for a redution of hours on English lines after Easter. The Caledonian Company refuses to re-engage strikers, in consequence of their lawless conduct while the men were out. Isolated instances of outrage and damage to property continue to occur among the Scotch railway men on strike. January 2D. The strikers at Perth have resumed work.
