Dr. Cushney was called in and ho bandaged up the wound but he does not oxpect the child to recover. On the previous day Dr. Cushney had to extract, a li.sh-hook from the linger of Mr Ghas. Ohitty's son, and also ultend a son of Mr \V. M. Shaw, of Tauwharo, who had been injured by a fall froin a horso.
