CAMBRIDGE LIBRARY.

TO THE EDITOR. I was much pleased to see a letter a few days ago asking the outgoing committee to publish their report before the date of tho annual meeting an vour kind offer to publish it free of cost. lam disappointed that as yot tho committee has not acted on the suggestion. The annual meeting being usually held at night prevents country subscribers from attending, so that really the library is managed hy a email section of tho townspeople. This is not right, and some of the country subscribers should be on the committee, when perhaps more care would be exercised to spend the revenue ot of the library in adding to tho shelves some new works of the day, and which would be of interest to tho majority of the subscribers.—Yours, &c., An Captandiim Vui.gcs. Cambridge, 23rd January, IS9I.
