In some parts of Norway corn is still used as a substitute for coin. Tenders are invited by Messrs Lurrowa and Mitchell, architects, Auckland, fur erecting a new verandah and balcony to the Commercial Hotul, Te Awamutu. Messrs A. Bnokland and sons next Remuera sale will take place oil Wednesday January 28th. Cattle trains will run on Tuesday, by which intending settlors are requested to forward their stock.
