Whirlwind. —On Tuesday last, between the hours of 4 and 5 o'clock a.m., our township was visited by a most unwelcome visitor, in the shape of a whirlwind of extraordinary strength, and which caused some considerable damage to buildings and trees. Tho inmates of Mr Finch's Hotel who were suddenly awakened by the shaking of the house and noiso of the wind, rushed out of their beds, and sevoral were outside the premises in a quarter lees than no time, in no email fright. Once outside thay found the old stable completely destroyed, and the mail coach, which was standing under a portion of it, turned over and considerably damaged.
