Spkakinc: at A'onnanby last nip lit Mr Hutchison said he had not authorised hie agent to ask for a postpDiiement of the Wliitaker-Hutchison trial till February, wd he did not; believe his agent had doue no. The application of the plaintiff was not merely to have the case set down for the 10th December because he could have lixed that without reference to the Court but to lmve a special jury in Wellington hearing the case a few days after election which would be unfair to him. He had no objection to the case coming on but irerely to the special jury application,
