EXPULSION OF A MEMBER. A DISORDERLY SCENE. (BY* I.'LtXTRIC TELEGRAI'II. — C'OI'YUIGHT.) Sydney, November 13. A BCKXIO of unparalleled disorder occurred in the Assembly last night during a debute in Committee of Supply. Mr W. B. Crick, member for Maequarrie West, was called to order, but defied the Chairman, who ordered him to be nnvsted. Mr Crick resisted violently; but the sergeant-ut-arms, ■with the assistance of other officers, Anally succeeded in carrying the reeiilcitrant mcmbor out of the Chamber, kicking, fighting, struggling to the last.
The Chairman reported the matter to the Speaker, and Mr Crick was .summoned. He assorted he had been ejected by brutal and illegal force. The Speaker ruled him out of order. Mr Crick attempted to dissent, and \ras again ordered to be removed from the House. As he was leaving ho called out, " You, Mr Speaker, got £'2000 for putting the Broken Hill Water Supply Bill through, and the Chairman £1000. You are both thieves and robbers of the country."
Sir H. Partes with regret moved, that the severest sentence possible, namely, that of expulision, bo jjassed. During the debate Mr Crick sent in his resignation, which was not submitted to the House. The motion Was carried by 03 to 10, and Mr Crick's seat was declared vacant,
