A LAHIi ELY-ATTENDED meeting of those interested in forming a Pony and Trotting Cluli win held at Bach's Hotel, Cambridge, .111 Saturday, at 7.30 p.m., Mr (i. McC.tiiu lining in tho chair. It was unanimously resolved to form a Club, to be called "The Waikat" lVny and Trotting Club," to bs run under the Auckland Trotting Club rulus. Tlie he was fixed at half a guinea, and thu names of nearly 40 individuals willing to join wore given in. A committe.fi was appointed tn canvas for members, and report at their next meeting, to be held at the National Hotel on the Sth pr.ix., at 7.00 p.m. Tim following are the committee: Musirs -I.
