By an Order-in-Council rule 290 in the code of civil procedure under the Supreme Court Act is revoked and a new v ule introduced as follows : —•' Every judgment debt shall carry interest at the rate of £6 per cent, per annum from the time of the judgment being given until the same shall bp satisfied, and smb. interest may be levied under any writ of execution upon such judgment." CIIRfSTCHURCH, Last Night. Anthony Sellars and Co. advertise in the morning papers to the effect that as the explanation of the article hi the Trades and Labour Chronicle is satisfuetory Messrs Whiteombe and Tombs have withdrawn the writ against them.
