LECTURE AT CAMBRIDGE.

Tun final lecture of the course in connection with Trinity Chinch, Cambridge, wan doliverod mi Friday night in tho Public Hall, by the Rev. T. F. Robertson, whoso yubject was "I l 'rum j/urtutral to Carthage." The Kov, lecturer pave a very interesting description uf Lisbon and tho surrounding country, touching in a graphic manner on the social, religious, and political life of the people. A trip up the Mediterranean with glimpses at Gibraltar, Malta, Corsica, and tho North African States was described in an instructive and interesting manner, as were also tho ruins nt ancient Carthage with its historic associations. There was a moderate but highly appreciative audience. Tho proceedings were enlivened by vocal and instrumental selections, very nicoly rendered by Misses Chambers, Dykes and Webber, and Messrs Wilson, McDermott, and Master Webber. The Rev. Win. Evans presided, and at the conclusion a hearty vote of thanks was accorded to the lecturer and perfjnners, proposed by Mr Hargent.
