ROAD BOARD MEETINGS.
Taotaoroa Board. Thk above Board met at Cambridge on Saturday, at 11 a.m. Present: H. J. ivallendar (chairman), «J. Forrest, and 11. R. ISrwnskill. The minutes of the previous meeting were read and continued. Finance. —The credit, balance of the Board at date was £100 IHs lUd, of which £100 m placed attixed deposit, consequently the rate will have to be collected to meet current expenses. The Main Road.—Mr I'orrest asked il the County Council were attending ti>_ the main road* j ho noticed they had decidcd not to contract for repairs to it.—Mr Brunskill said any Councillor was at liberty to put the surfaceman on, and in fact Wattam had been employed the greater portion of his time upon it, and it was being kept m good repair. BItIIHiWATEK Road.—The Chairman reported that the heavy rains had washed away a portion of the approach to the No L' bridge on the above road. He had caused temporary repairs to be executed which he judged would last until the summer, when they would have a few piles driven and sheath them with boards. His action was approved. Accounts.—The only account passed for payment was Geo. Wattam, ten days on the Bridgwater road oos. The Board then rose.
