Three publicans, with a prominent member of the labour party, waited on the manager of the brewery, who explained that the gentleman whose name appeared airionsst the shareholders of Whitcombe and Tombs held very few shares in the brewery. The company were not ill sympathy with Whitcombe and Tombs, nor did they favour them with any of their printing, which had been done at a CJnion establishment, which would continue to get their work. The labour party were satistied with the explanation, and removed the boycott. Wellington, Last Night. The Mount Cook School Committee have decided that the request to them to refrain from purchasing any of Whitcombe and Tombs' publications till the disputo with the Maritime Council is settled is outside their province as a school committee.
