At the children's service in the afternoon over 100 little ones wero present, to whom Mr F. J. Brook* delivered an address, taking lessons from a lantern which he exhibited, and from which he deduced many excellent precepts. On Tuesday an entertainment was given in the Oddfellow's Hall, which was packed to siilfocation, when the following programme was successfully gone through : — Chorus, " .Sound tho Battle Cry," children; piano duet, " March of tho Men of Harloch," LenaXeal and Gerty Brooks, (Miss Campbell and Mr Brooks assisted in this with violin and Hute respectively); song, "Grandma," Martha Sharp; song, "Going Home," Lena, Neil; " IVisky's Story," Gerty Brooks (vpry good) ; duet and chorus, " Jcssio's Dolly," Jessie Hally, Jessie Brooks, and children ; song, " The Fishermaid's Song," Miss A.
