Tcesdav, July Ist. —Before Capt. Jnckacn, R.M., and R. ltathborne, Esq,, J.P. McDokagd v. Pikipr.—Judgment summons. Mr Dyer appeared for Judgment creditor. Before hearing evidence of plnintitf, Mr Garrett, mine manage! and defendant, the Court with consent of defendant made an order 11 pay 8s a month, or in default five days' imprisonment. Mum v. RonEß'rsox.— Claim £4 10-> for wrongful convention of turkeys. Mr Dyer for plaintiff. Defendant did not appear, but enmed a telegram to be sent requesting the Court to nonsuit the plaintiff. After hearing evidonce at considerable length as to the identification of tho turkeys, judgment, was given for £3 los and costs £3 17s tid. Defuai'iuni; Railway Authoiuties.—A man named Robinson was charged with travelling from Auckland to Ngaruawahia on a return ticket, that had been issued to another person, Defendant pleaded guilty, but said ho did not know he was committing an offence. Not haviugany money to pay a tine, he was to seven days' imprisonment in Mount Eden with hard labour.
