Augustus Edward Braithwaito, a telegraphist, lias tiled his schedule, and states as the cause the giving of promissory notes to his stop-father, Mr P. P., Evans. Messrs Watson, Murray and Co., brewers, were charged before the R.M. to■day with breaches of the Beer Duty Act. The cases were remanded.
