(BV TKI,EGItAFH— I'HKSS ASSOCIATION). DUNEDIN, Last Night. A body was found in the harbour near St. Leonard's, yesterday. It has been identified as that of Chas. Anderson, a fellmouger, a well-known resident in the North-east Valley. NEW PLYMOUTH, Last Night. The murder case is proceeding in the Police Court and 23 witnesses were examined this morning. The medical evidence ia now being taken. WOODVILLE, Last Night. Mr Seabright, employed in the Telegraph Office, went pigeon-shooting yesterday, and haa not since returned. He Li evidently lost in the bush. The weather is very rough, and a search will he a difficult matter. James E. Gillespie, well-known as an old West Coaster, died this morning from inflammation of the lungs. INVERCARGILL, Last Night. The native mutton birders returned to Riverton yesterday, in the steamer Kakanui, which encountered very rough weather, prolonging a four days' passage to one of a fortnight. . Tho mutton bird season has been tho best for many years, the tako will not be far short of one hundred thousand birds.
