Woods made 2t>, and Streattield 34. Turner obtained 3 wickets for 51, Ferris 4 for 08, and Trimble o for 45. The Australians on going in lost 3 wickets for 95, Murdock being still in with 40. Lyons made 33. The wicket was slow but improved as the day went on. Juue_7. lu the match against Cambridge Univerversity the Australians, in their first innings, made 351, the principal scorers being Ferris 23, Trumble 19, Charlton (not out) 30, Gregory 40, Barrett 00. The last two showed excellent cricket. In their second innings the Cambridge team batted brilliantly, and were not disposed of till the score had reached 357, Jephson 37, Douglas 57, McGregor 31, Woods 13, Gosling 37, Hill (not out) 22. Turner took 2 wickets for 96 rune, Trott 3 for 89, Ferris 1 for 58, Lyons 2 for 58, Trumble 1 for 37. The Australians require to make 195 runs to win the match.
