THE BANK OF NEW ZEALAND.
THE PEESS ON MR lIEAN'S REPORT. SUGGESTED SALE OF THE GOODWILL. (by electric telegraph.—copyright). London, May 20. Bank or New Zealand shares, old issue, are quoted at £5, and new issue at £8. The Financial News, commenting on Mr Ilean's report on the position of the. Bank of New Zealand, says that a complete reoicranisation of the institution is necessary, and it is of opinion that much the better plan would be to sell the Rood will of the concern and float an entirely new company to deal with the unrealised assets.
