TE AROHA DOMAIN BOARD.
Tue monthly meeting of the Te Aroha Hot Springs Domain Board was held on Saturday evening last. Present : Mr Thos. Gavin (chairman), and Messrs Wilson, Lipsey, Ahier and Uott. The minutes of the regular meeting held in March were read and confirmed, the April meeting having lapsed for want of a quorum.— A.letter was read from MrC. S. S. George, solicitor, stating that he was instructed by Mr John Grey, of Auckland, to inform the Board that he had purchased (subject to the approval of the lessees) all the right, title and interest of the Tβ Aroha Soda and Mineral Water Company, and was further instructed to request the Board not to allow any person to take any of the overflow or surplus water for any purpose whatever other than the duly authorised agents of the said John Grey.—On the motion of Mr Wilson the letter was received and tho clerk directed to acknowledge receipt of the letter.—The monthly statements wera then read. The receipts for the two months ending 3rd May were £SS sterling, and the expenditure during that period was: —£47 5s for permanent salaries, and £24 Gs Gd for labour employed in the reconstruction of No. 5 Bath. —The following accounts were passed for payment: —J. B. Johnson, £11 7s Gd; W. Bennett, £G 5s ; C. Tonge, £5 12s Gd ; H. Goldsworthy, £o 7s ; J. H. Emett, £3 18s ; Jas. Livery, £3 Is; Geo. Taylor, £3 Us ; W. A. Prime, £2 9,-i Sd ;W. Hetherington, £1 2s ; C. Johnsen, lGs 7d :J. Williams, 19s ; C. Ahier, £4 14s 9d ; W. Dibsell, £1 18s ; Herald, £1 Is ; J. Hart, 1!)* ;To tVroha Times, 3s od. This was all the business.
