LATEST AUCKLAND NEWS.
(BT TELEGRAPH.—OWN CORRESPONDENT.) Auckland, Last Niprht. The Government has ordered an estimate to bo made of the cost of fitting up a cattle quarantine station at Motuihi. Judgment was Riven to-day re the collission in the harbour between the steamers Birkenhead and Waitoa. The captain of the latter was found guilty of an error of judgment, and was ordered to pay the costs, but his certificate was returned.
