(BY TELKGRAPH.— OWN COIUIESPOSnENT.) Auckland, Last Night. At Kaipara Heads another vessel is lying loaded with a cargo of kauri timber for home. This is the third from the colony this year. The vessel is the Harfruen, a foreign barque. She has on board 550,000 superficial feet of sawn kauri flitches for London, and was loaded from Chadwick's an' l Miithew's mills, To Knpuru, and is now under charter to the Kauri Timber Company. She sails for London to-day. A deputation, consisting of Messrs V. Lawry and .T. Bollard, waited upon Mr Mitchclson, and had a consultation regarding a quarantine station for cattle. It appears the committee recommended various places, amongst others Motuihi, for Auckland. By some means this is not gazetted. In the afternoon Mr YVhitaker was closeted for some time with Mr Mitchelson.
In the Supreme Court Messrs Firth and Isaacs received their final discharge unopposed.
