The Minister for Lands has caused a great deal of the reserved area of the colony to be thrown open for selection. As much of this land is of very superior quality, it will of course bring a higher tigure than tho ordinary lands, which arp open for selection. The past good soason having greatly encouraged the settlors, they are anxious in many cases to secure more property, and the government lands are beiug eagerly sought for.
