THE SLAVIN AFFAIR.
ASSAULT BY MITCHELL. (BY ELECTRIC TELKGItAPfI. —COPYRIGHT). London, March 6. A quarrel occurred at ; Baird's private house over the recent Smith-Slavin fight during which Mitchell the pugilist assaulted Goocle, and Coburq, two men .connected with the 'prize ring with a poker. The men were seriously injured, and had to be taken to an hospital. A warrant is out for the arrest of Mitchell.
