HAMILTON ROAD BOARD.
The ordinary monthly meeting of the Hamilton Road Board was held'on Saturday, Ist inst., at th'-> usual hour. Present: Messrs Jones (ohairinan), Maunder, Exelby and Qualtroußli. ConiiESPONDENCK.— Xistt-Rr from Mr R. C. H:unerton, E-.q., Public Trus'.ee, ra certificates under " Tin) Hating Act, 1882." —Letter from Mr R. Dilhcar re drain from outfall at Mr Livingstone's to peg 70, Pukete ; also, memo ro had :-t:ite of the old WhatawhaU road from Ins farm t> Mr \Vm. Jones'.—Letter from Mrs Wright re dungerous state of the raiiw.iy crossing on tho road leading to hftr renidonce. (Referred to 'he Hamilton Borough Council). — It whs resolved that tho clerk write and auk tho Newcastle lioaJ Board to bear half the ■ cost of filling in the ruts on .the old V\rhatawhata road from Dillicar's to Jones' farm, and in the event of the Newcastle Road Bojirj agrUfiinE thereto, tlvs chairman be authorised to get thu work done.—lt was resolved that the clerk write again to Messrs Buddel iind Aitken rn clearing gorse oft" the road leading to Mr P. O'Brien's farm at Pukete.
