STRIKE PAY ISSUED BY LABOUR COUNCIL.
(by telegraph—PßESS association). Wellington, List Night. Strike pay was issued by the Trades and Labour Council on Saturday for the first time, to both men and women who have either been discharged from or have left tho Petone Woollen Mill. It is understood that over £50 was paid away. There are about J3O persona now thrown upon the Council for support Ju consequence of the trouble at the mill.
