UNITED WAIKATO AND WAIPA.

ro fHB Km run. Sib, —As the time is drawing near when the electors (if nuited Waina, and Waikato will he called upon to chose their representative for Pnrliitiuent, I think it behoves ns all, as in fact it dues every elector in the colony, to s«t about him in earnest and make the best choice possible. Of course we cannot expect th*t the Wairotara electors will allow Mr Bryce to leave them, as it is well known that a large majority of legitimate electors voted for him at the last election. In looking around me lam pleased to find that we have now amongst ub oni? that is in every way Htt.'d to represent us or any other constituency, having for years been one "f the members for Newcastle in the British Parliament; a man that can afford to be independent of any party or clique. I refer to Mr Allen, of Annandale, Piako. In him the electors would have a representative they might well be proud of, a fitting colleague to such men ns Withy, Bryce, and a few others, a band that we all hope will be Ktrongthened at the next election. Not imnn personally acquainted with Mr Allen, I hope that »om- of his friends will prevail on him t > give ns his views on the subject and the situation at either Cambridge or Hamilton as early as convenient. —Yours truly, Isaac Coatej. Hamilton. 3rd March. 1800.
