PARNELL V. TIMES.

It is reported that in the House of Commons the Opposition intend to move an amendment to the Address, accepting the report of the TimesParneli Commission as regards matters of- fact, and making strong' reservations as to matters, of inference. It will also express sympathy with Mr Parnell on the persecution to which he has been, subjected, and rejoices at his acquittal frcim the charges preferred. Mr W. S. 1 Came* whip of the Uriionist party, has Written a.letter stating that: in his opinion: Mr Parnell comes out of the enquiry virtually unscathed. He is; hp.ri'i|ied the conduct of the Times in publishing libels on such flimsy evidense. . ' 'February 22. Mr W. H". Smith's motion re the Times-Parnell Commissiori has beeii postponed until the 3rd prpjc. The Unionist party are issuing a pamphlet censuring the Times for its part in connection i with the publication of the articles on " Parnellism and Crime,'- and it the same time it denounces, the outrages in Ireland. ~
