HAMILTON ROAD BOARD.

The ordinary monthly meeting of the Hamilton Road Board was held on Saturday, Ist in-t. The following members were present, Messrs .Jones (Chairman), Maunder, Exelby and Qualtrough. The minutes of the previous meeting were read and confirmed. Mr E. C. Shepherd wrwte, on behalf of Ihe settlers in the Tnhikaramea district, drawing the attention of the Board to the very rough and dangerous state of the road from the junction of the Tuhikaramea and Whatawhata roads to Messrs Williamson's gate, about 15 chains in length. The Board decided to get the road referred to by Mr Shepherd attended to at once, Mr Maunder to supervise the work. Accounts passed for payment were as follows : —General Government half-year's interest on loan to February Ist, 1800, £7 Ss 6d ; Audit fees, 18S3 and 1881), £1 Gs Bd. The Board then rose.
