THE CAMBRIDGE BAND,
TO TIIE EDITOR. The Cambridge Band on Saturday night in the opinion of all right-minded people to say tho least of it, was guilty of a most unseemly act, in trying to drown the voices it the Salvation Army. I, with others, was standing behind J. Lamb, the leader who said "Play up and give them plenty of drum,' and continued doing so all the time of their meeting. This act of the bandsmen has forteited the practical sympathies of many from them, for tho Army has been the means of doing a good werk in Cambridge.—Yours, &c., Ear and Eye Witkkss.
