Mr Or:ii£ was at Colonel Forbss' sale, in Hamilton, and Mrs Craig wan alone at homo when the tiro broke mit. The firei started in an ont-buildine, but from what cause it is not known, and quickly spread. Mrs Craig r in over to Mr Co-bott's, a short distance away, Mr Corbett returned with her, and rendered what assist nice he could, but comparatively little was saved. The house was insured for £SO, and the furniture for £75 in the Now Zsaland Insurauce
