THE PUHIPUHI SILVER FIND.

(by TRt.EIiUAI'H—I'ItKSS ASSOCIATION) Whangabsi, Monday. Some fine specimens containing native silver were brought from the prospectors claim at Puhipubi on Saturday. This is the first discovery ot native silver ore precisely similar to Broken Hill ore. From Kawakawa it is reported that all the prospectors have been ordered out of Puhipuhi because term of license is up and summer has set in. It has been suggested here that the northern members should endeavour to induce the Government to opon the Puhipuhi north of Tangiapakura River where present mines are, as it is only mixed bush. ____________
