EXTRAORDINARY RIFLE SHOOTING

Tick results of the weekly competitions of tho North London Rifle Club, of which Lonl Wolseley is president, were officially announced on Thursday, and show records of a most marvellous and unprecedented character in rifle shooting. The contests were held at I'ark, near Tottenham, on Wednesday, in favourable weather, the sensational '' shoot" of the day being that of the Queen's prize-man of last year Sergt. Fulton, Queen's Westminster totalled up the extraordinary aggregate of !U points out of tlii; possible 101), under Queen's Prize, third stnge, conditions, viz, ten shots at 800 and 1)00 yards. Martini-Henry rihV. Sergeant Fulton, by his splendid performance, which comprised fifteen bullseyes, four iuners, and one magpie, thus established the rifle record for these distances. At short ranges, but commencing at 000 yards and concluding at 200 yards, Captain Cowan, Itoyal Engineers, made the splendid score of 99 points out of the possible 105, with 31 at 000 yards, the highest possible of seven consecutive bnlleseycs at ">OO yards, and :-!3 at 20:) yards ; Private Rosenthal, of the I [otiourable Artillery Company of London being next with 93.
